Creating Fun
Everyone said I couldn’t do it—but they were happy to join me as long as I had money. These last six years have shown me that creating fun is the only way to live.

Skip to CIt all began with a 🍄 journey.
One week later, I gave my son Nolan the gift of music for his 16th birthday. Within a year, his first album was released, and one year later, album #2 is finished.
We started a company called Creating Fun after I quit my job as a pastor and started living for the first time. Please keep reading, I’ll explain how it all came together.
Let me back up. It started with the use of cannabis in 2016, about the same time the album 22, A Million by Bon Iver came out.
Jump ahead to the end of 2018. After exploring the spiritual use of cannabis, I knew it was time for more. So, after reading How To Change Your Mind in December, I took my first journey on mushrooms in February of 2019.
I have spent the last twenty years of my life telling people what I am against; I want to spend the next twenty years telling people what I am for. Some of my friends laughed at me when I called them and said that I was quitting my job as a pastor and starting a company called Creating Fun.
I didn’t know what I wanted to do because I didn’t know who I was. I only knew who I was running from; I decided that I would go on a deep personal healing journey before I would do any official business work. I started reading another book called The Surrender Experiment with my friend David Tosti, and then the transformation began.
What happens next feels like a movie, I spent the 12 months restoring and rebuilding a 40-year-old retreat center called Rainbow Ridge in the Santa Cruz mountains with my family and friends
I met a medicine man named Standing Deer in Taos, a monk from Thailand, and a real-life Bible character named Joshua from the Sequoia mountains. Oh! And so many women healers who understand beauty, astrology, crystals, plants, and the sacredness of nature
In the middle of the second lockdown in California, we decided to spend a month in Denver. We rented a historic church building in Denver to create music that could be served as medicine to a world in need of new medicines. Music heals. Music helps your mind, body, and spirit align.
After that month, we said yes to renting the coolest house we could find in the heart of Southern California for 40 days to create and make music. After that, several of the artists headed to Waco, TX and I spent half of the year in Mexico at a sacred retreat center hosting friends and family.
In the coming months and years, you will hear and see some of the beautiful humans I have had the joy of seeing grow and develop spiritually, physically, emotionally, and artistically.
The goal from the start is to partner with people who were interested in dreaming, creating, disrupting, and – ultimately – positively impacting this world in extraordinary ways.
You can follow along and look out for our artists, authors, creatives, brands, projects, movements and special souls as we release albums, books, video courses, festivals, plays, and so much more in 2022 and beyond.
We finished 44 nights on Abbot Kinney with our Pop Up called ASCENSION with Christspiracy and so much more.
We moved two blocks away to build the first ever Venice Fun House
I got remarried!
We then left for Carmel By The Sea.
She didn’t survive Carmel but I said we win by loosing.
2024 was home to me and Nobody in Sedona, Utah, Nevada and CA.
2025 is here. Everything begins again.
2026 Vegas is next.
