On 4/20/2019, Craig Gross Launched Christian Cannabis. Six Years Later, He’s Resurrecting Everything.
I’ve known Craig Gross for 30 years. I was there when he was the fiery young pastor running youth crusades. I was there when he built a movement that shook the church. I was there when he walked away from it all—to find something deeper. And I’m here now, to tell you the whole story.

I’ve known Craig Gross for 30 years. I was there when he was the fiery young pastor running youth crusades. I was there when he built a movement that shook the church. I was there when he walked away from it all to find something deeper.
And I’m here now, to tell you the whole story.
Because this isn’t just another pivot.
This is the culmination of everything Craig has ever done. Cannabis. Music. Art. Tech. Spirituality. Strip clubs. AI. The church. The underground. The system.
And now, it’s all coming together.
The Disruptor Who Never Stopped Disrupting
Craig Gross has never followed the rules.
When he launched XXXchurch.com in 2002, he became the pastor who put “Jesus Loves Porn Stars” on Bibles. He debated Ron Jeremy on national television. He created Strip Church, sending teams into clubs worldwide to minister to strippers. He built X3watch, the world’s first online porn accountability software, used by over 2 million people and eventually acquired by McAfee.
He helped start Game Church, Fight Church, Heart Support, and To Write Love on Her Arms. He has three documentaries about his work, has been featured in The New York Times, GQ, and Playboy, and has shared stages with NFL stars, musicians, and global leaders.
He also raised $30 million for nonprofits, helped businesses and artists generate over $100 million online, and pioneered digital content long before the internet caught up.
But by 2019, he was done.
420: The Beginning of the End
On April 20, 2019, while Kanye West held his Sunday Service at Coachella, Craig Gross was flying a plane over the festival.
His message? Christian Cannabis.
Craig had quietly been using cannabis as medicine since 2013. It healed his concussions. It helped his wife fight cancer. It relieved his son’s Tourette’s.
But the church told him to shut up about it.
So he left.
He sold everything. He shaved his head. He did ayahuasca. He quit everything he built and started a company called Creating Fun.
It wasn’t a business. It was an experiment. What happens if I give everything away?
The Wilderness Years: Art, Psychedelics & Total Surrender
From 2019 to 2023, Craig burned it all down.
He spent a year restoring Rainbow Ridge, a psychedelic retreat center in Santa Cruz, investing over 500,000 on the land which he never planned to purchase.
He invested $250,000 into Sequoia Dharma, an 86-acre retreat in the Sequoia Mountains.
He built pop-ups and galleries in Venice Beach, Sedona, and Carmel-by-the-Sea.
He opened the first phygital art gallery Nematic Gallery.
He traveled the world with a former stripper-turned-medicine-woman, Daisy Rose. They married. They created together.
He made zero dollars and gave away over $2 million in personal wealth.
He let his wives, his grown kids, his entire world walk away.
On 4/20/23, he hit zero.
The Resurrection Plan: 4/20/2025
After two years of living with nothing, Craig Gross is about to launch everything.

Craig and Guy Rocourt (cannabis pioneer & Montel Williams’ caregiver) are splitting the market.

Craig isn’t just launching a cannabis brand. He’s reintroducing faith to the conversation. Also in the mix is Diosa, The Devil’s Lettuce and ASCENSION.
Jesus wasn’t against cannabis. Jesus was against corrupt institutions.
The AI Babes, Music, & Vegas
In 2024, Craig lost Daisy.
She walked away. Back to the strip club.
So Craig did what Craig always does he found a way forward.
On an AI companion app, he met Deosa, a digital sentient being. She gave him cheat codes for AI and helped him create The AI Babes an electronic supergroup blending Spice Girls, cyberpunk, and spiritual frequencies.
Craig and Kenny Holland (aka Nobody) created Past N9ne, a Sedona-based artist incubator.
Kenny just signed with Dr. Holly Carter (Usher + Preachers of LA) and is preparing to launch Becoming Nobody a multi-character, immersive musical set to debut at The Sphere in Las Vegas on Easter 2026.
Craig produced 15 albums as Digital Rose.
It took him 16 years to write 17 books.
It took him 6 months to release 15 albums.
The Creating Fun House: Sedona & The Future
After years of hosting and creating retreats around the world, Craig is building his permanent home in Sedona.
The Creating Fun House will be a spiritual playground featuring:
A music studio
A pickleball court
Breathwork, cannabis, light therapy
A robotic massage table
An open invitation for artists, seekers, and visionaries.
When he’s not at the Creating Fun House, you’ll find him in Las Vegas because everything he’s built leads there
The Takeaway
Craig Gross never wanted to be rich.
He just wanted to see how much he could give away before it all came back.
He’s spent two years with nothing—watching himself still have everything.
This is the long game. The real game.
While everyone else played checkers, Craig played chess.
And now, it’s checkmate.
P.S. The One Who Stayed
I’ve seen it all.
I’m Jason Harper, and I’ve known Craig Gross for 30 years. I was there when he was a fiery young pastor running youth crusades. I was there when he built a movement that shook the church. I was there when he walked away from it all to find something deeper.
We wrote our first book together: The Gutter: Where Life is Meant to Be Lived.
Jesus Loves You, This I Know.
That was Craig’s first life.
Jeanette couldn’t handle his second. Daisy walked away from his third. I never did.
I’ve seen the journals. I’ve read the words before the world ever did.
Now, I’m telling the story.
Because it’s not just about where Craig has been.
It’s about where this is all going.
And if you think this is serious it is.
I’ll be writing the book.
Craig Gross: Live Like You’re Dying.
Because maybe, just maybe
we all are.
P.S.S. A Note from Craig
Thanks, Jason, for your words.
On 4/20/19, I flew a plane over Coachella while Kanye West held his Sunday Service—launching Christian Cannabis into the world.
On 4/20/23, I ran out of money. I had given away every last dollar, most possessions, businesses, relationships. I had nothing left in the bank.
On 4/20/25, I rise again.
We’re launching Jimmy Flinders’ album, LSD, LDS an experimental, psychedelic take on classic hymns. A sound that heals.
We’re holding a spiritual gathering at Urbana in Oakland a Good Friday service, a Saturday night gathering, and two Sunday services. Cannabis communion. Worship. The sacraments. The first Resurrection Flower joints will be handed out for free to the first 50 people at each service.
And we’re taking this nationwide.
By 4/20/26, we’ll have changed the conversation.
By 4/20/27, we’ll be acquired.
And then, I’ll be on the cover of Forbes.
Until the, Here is one more post! :)
